RCN may collect and process information including:
- Minecraft username and UUID
- RCN subject identifier
- organisation or company information
- credit accounts and facilities
- original and outstanding loan balances
- account opening, maturity and closure dates
- repayments and repayment history
- overdue payments and delinquencies
- defaults, write-offs, restructures and corrections
- credit inquiries
- reporting institution
- credit scores, ratings and associated reason codes
- information submitted during disputes or correction requests
- account and API usage information relating to RCN users and participating institutions
Sources of Information
Most credit information held by RCN is provided by participating banks, lenders and other authorised institutions.
RCN may also receive information:
- directly from the subject of a credit record
- through disputes and correction requests
- through publicly available Redmont records where relevant and lawful
- through RCN's own systems, including credit inquiries and API access logs
Why We Process Information
RCN processes information for purposes including:
- maintaining credit histories
- producing RCN Scores and commercial credit ratings
- providing authorised institutions with credit-risk information
- supporting lending and underwriting decisions
- monitoring existing credit relationships
- identifying recent credit exposure, delinquency or default
- generating detailed credit reports
- maintaining data accuracy
- investigating and resolving disputes
- protecting RCN and its members against abuse or fraud
- maintaining security and audit records
- complying with applicable Redmont law
Credit Scores and Ratings
RCN may derive credit scores, ratings, confidence indicators and reason codes from reported credit information.
An RCN Score represents an assessment of reported historical credit behaviour. It is not a guarantee that a person or organisation will or will not repay future credit.
Creditworthiness and affordability are separate concepts. Participating lenders remain responsible for establishing their own lending criteria.
Disclosure of Information
RCN may disclose credit information to approved participating institutions where access is reasonably required for authorised purposes such as:
Access to personal credit information is restricted on a need-to-know and need-to-access basis.
RCN does not make individual credit profiles publicly searchable.
RCN may disclose information where required or authorised by applicable law, regulation, court order or lawful government request.
- evaluating a credit application
- reviewing an existing credit facility
- commercial underwriting
- monitoring an existing borrower
- investigating disputed or potentially fraudulent credit activity
Data Minimisation
RCN seeks to provide only the information reasonably necessary for the purpose of a credit inquiry.
Routine automated API requests may provide a limited credit summary, while access to more detailed credit reports may require additional institutional permissions and a declared purpose.
Data Accuracy
RCN relies substantially on information reported by participating institutions.
We take reasonable measures to keep credit information accurate, complete and appropriately up to date.
Where information is found to be incorrect, RCN may correct or supersede the relevant information while retaining appropriate audit records of the original submission and subsequent correction.
Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, individuals and organisations may request:

- confirmation of whether RCN holds information about them
- access to their personal or organisational credit information
- correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- review of disputed information
- information about how their data is being used
- information about institutions that have reported relevant credit information
- other privacy rights available under the laws of the Commonwealth of Redmont
Disputes
If you believe information reported about you is inaccurate, you may submit a dispute through RCN's designated dispute process.
RCN may:
- mark relevant information as disputed
- request evidence or clarification
- contact the reporting institution
- review available records
- correct, supersede or uphold the information
- notify relevant parties of the outcome where appropriate
Security
RCN uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect information from:

Retention
RCN retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

Participating Institutions
RCN member institutions remain responsible for their own privacy practices and for the legality and accuracy of information they submit to the network.
RCN is not responsible for independent lending decisions or unrelated information processing conducted by participating institutions.
Changes to This Policy
RCN may update this Privacy Policy where necessary to reflect changes to:
- RCN services
- credit-reporting practices
- technology
- member requirements
- applicable Redmont law
